Some of my most favorite sessions have been ones when a loved one announces something amazing or surprises their family with big news during the session. We get to photograph real and raw emotions and it really is the best thing ever. When this adorable couple schedule a couples session with Simply Shelby by Brittnee she was so excited to bring their ideas to life. But when the husband contacted her and said he wanted to surprise the love of his life and propose during their session, Brittnee was elated. Can you imagine holding in such a big secret when talking to your client. And then holding your face as you begin to shoot and know what’s about to come. I mean talk about a real poker face. But this surprise proposal was perfection and we are all so excited for this sweet and newly engaged couple. They were literally glowing with pure joy for the rest of their session and it was very present as I edited their gallery.
