Summer in the Utah mountains is one of my favorite places to be. Garrett and I have a travel bug and love to see the world and all that it has to offer. But there is something special about coming home to what’s familiar and the Utah mountains do that for me. This stunning engagement session was captured in the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Northern Utah. There were so many different backdrops to choose from and we had so much fun exploring together as we walked around finding the perfect spots. I always scout out my locations before hand so I know exactly what I’m getting into, however, every once and awhile my clients don’t mind taking a stroll and I’ve found some amazing places that way. Backdrops, time of day, and time of year are all things to consider when choosing when/where you want your photographs taken.
