Birthdays are a big deal at our house. Its not that we go all out and spend a million dollars, but we love to celebrate, love on, and make the birthday person feel so special for their big day. And one thing that I love to do for our birthdays is a mini photo shoot. Capturing my boys at each stage of their life is so important to me and getting the opportunity to do it regularly is one of my most favorite things. Now I know that my profession is photography so I do get that I have the luxury of professional photos on the daily, but even taking photos with your iPhone is so worth documenting your kids lives. And then when it is their birthday, maybe splurge a little bit and get a professional session done once a year to highlight your kiddos personality. Birthday sessions are the best and I wish more people did them. They are so popular for first birthdays, but I want them to be huge for every birthday. I mean just look how adorable this birthday session is that Simply Shelby by Danielle photographed. She captured her clients sweet personality to a T. I loved this whole gallery.
