As a photographer I have always known the importance of capturing all of the major milestones in the life of my clients. Newborns, birthdays, baptisms, graduations, missions, family sessions, engagements, weddings, and the circle just keeps going. But when I welcomed Beau into the world the idea of milestones really hit closer to home. It wasn’t just the big momentous moments that needed to be captured, but the every day, no one else sees, perfect moments too. So when I have clients who want to capture everyday stages of their child’s life, I am always right there for it. There isn’t a specific reason for this session, other than her baby is growing up and she wants to have him photographed through all of his development stages. And we all know that that first year is huge. Our babies change SO much from a newborn through those fist twelve months. Being able to photograph this sweet boy for his momma was simply a joy. It made me think back when Beau was his age and it brought back all the feels. So yay for normalizing talking photographs just because you want to and not because you feel like you have too!
