Sending a missionary off to another place can be a very exciting and yet mixed emotional time for both the missionary and their families. It is such an amazing thing that missionaries are volunteering their time, effort, and personal lives to go and spread the gospel. It can also be hard to leave your every day lives as well as your friends and families. I know that even thinking of sending my own boy out on a mission gives me pride and love but also a sadness of missing him being around on a day to day basis. One thing that is helpful when I am missing someone is to look at their pictures. It makes me feel closer to them and seeing their face and smile makes me feel better. So whenever I get asked to do missionary pictures I always remind myself how important those pictures will be to their families, especially their mothers. This handsome missionary asked my sweet associate Simply Shelby by McKayla to be the photographer for his missionary session.
