We’ve had so many newborn sessions the past couple of months and I for one am not complaining one little bit. Newborns have a special place in my heart and I am always so excited to photograph and edit a newborn session. The of the many reason I am so grateful for my photography studio is because we have such a warm and beautiful place to take newborn sessions. Whether its the middle of a snow storm, freezing temperatures, or those who are wanting a lifestyle look without using their own home, the studio is the perfect fit. There is just something about snuggling up to your little babe and taking some photos of a time that seriously goes by so so fast. The tiny features, the loves, snuggles, smell, its all just some of my favorite times with my own boys and I am always so sad when that newborn stage is over. I know that’s not always the reality for others but I cherish those first few months. And maybe that’s part of the photographer in me too, but I think its more the mom in me being able to witness it first hand.
