Sweet, simple perfection. What more could you ask for when doing a first birthday session? First birthday sessions can be as simple or elaborate as you would like to make them. It can be a solid background, or a full scale party with all the bells and whistles. That’s the beauty of your session. You get to customize it how you want it to look, feel, and be. This cuties momma requested a super easy, white backdrop with all the focus on her sweet boy. I am loving the simplicity of this session and how clean it looks. Her little man didn’t want much to do with his birthday cake, and that is honestly the most common response. But he did eventually give it a little try. And he gave me the most adorable gummy smiles with a couple toothy grins. It reminded me of my sweet Beau last summer when we did his first birthday session and made my momma heart so happy.
