Don’t ever be afraid to schedule a photography session during the winter months. There are so many ways to dress so that you can stay warm and still have a great outcome. This amazing winter family session was photographed by my kind associate Megan. She had this cute family in and out within 15-20 mins and there wasn’t any complaining of the cold. Mom and Dad bundled their little up in the cutest winter outfit and their photos turned out so cute. I know that snow and winter sessions can be intimidating to do outside but there are some easy ways to make it completely doable. Here are a few tips and tricks:

- Wear layers and cute outwear outfits
- Have young kiddos in beanies, earmuffs, boots and cute jackets
- Hide hand warmers inside pockets or have them easily accessible to warm hands up in-between takes
- Bring a neutral blanket to wrap yourselves in if needed
- Have a thermos of your favorite warm beverage on hand to warm you up as soon as the session is over
- Treats, snacks, and bribes are always very effect for young kiddos during anytime of the year
