Families with really young kids and babies tend to worry about the weather during their sessions. Sometimes different weather or temperatures can cause different reactions with different kiddos. Some kids might love the cold and snow, while others might not particularly like it. And in return might not always have the happiest demeanor. And here’s the thing, you know your kids the best. You know how they will do in the cold or the snow. So ultimately the decision is up to you whether you want to do an outdoor or indoor session during the winter. But for those who know that the cold and snow wouldn’t be the best mix, then I always highly recommend scheduling a session inside a studio instead. While kids are always unpredictable and aren’t always going to behave how we would hope or expect, talking the extra step to set up an environment that you think would benefit them the most is always helpful.
