A lot of clients have been asking the best color pallets for fall family sessions. And while any color pallet that looks good on you is ideal, there are some colors that stand out in the fall backdrops more than others. Neutral colors are always my go to for any season and session. They look good with any backdrop and any session type. If neutrals are not your jam then fall colors like tans, khakis, burnt oranges, blacks, creams, whites, rust, olive green, and jean blue are also really beautiful color choices for fall. Choosing outfits that are complimentary to each other is perfect. Try to avoid everyone in the same color on top and the same color on bottom. Also make sure to dress for the weather for your session. If it is going to be a colder evening choose outfits that allow for layers or shakets, tights or long socks for your girls, and jean jackets or sweaters for your boys. You want to be comfortable both in confidence but also temperature too. Both of those go a long way with presenting your best self in front of the camera. Adding hand warmers in pockets and shoes can also help those littles stay warm if the evening ends up being a little chilly.
