One of my favorite locations is about to be put on pause for a few months while I allow the nasty bugs to thrive while I don’t visit them. Ugh its literally the worst thing to be out at Antelope Island and not be able to even function because the bugs are so stinking bad. It makes me sad because I would photograph sessions there every day if I could. But man my love for photography is trumped by my hate for bugs! But with that being said when I see sessions like this one that Simply Shelby by Liesel photographed it allows me to hold onto something good until I can go back out there in the fall. Liesel had the sweetest family for this maternity session in the best location. They were out there before the bugs took over, and had the most beautiful time. This momma and her little boy were pulling at all my boy mom heart strings and made me tear up a little bit. You can see their love and connection through the screen and I love that photography can preserve those little things for families. He already looks like the best big brother. We can’t wait to see this sweet babe when they come earth side. Its going to be the best surprise ever.
