If you are ever wanting to do a photo session out at Antelope Island, spring is one of the very best times to do so. As it gets warmer tons of bugs tend to take over the island and it makes for a not very pleasant experience to say the least. I always highly recommend not shooting out their during bug season because its a major no in my book. But when its bug free, man oh man, it is one of my most favorite places to shoot. You have a little bit of everything as far as backdrops go and you can literally make almost anything work. The versatility it offers plays into a photographers favor every day. Like this stunning spring family session that my sweet associate Simply Shelby by Brittnee took back in April. The weather was perfect, the bugs were none existent, and it turned out to be the best day for all involved. Its a photographers dream when everything lines up perfect like that. Luckily we have more amazing days then questionable days and I love when it works out for everyone.
