Another associates birthday and another super fun birthday mini session. This time my cute associate, Simply Shelby by Jackie, offered color block minis for her birthday this year. It is a fun and different style that always turns out so good. You can literally do any type of session with a colored back drop and it makes everything so simple and clean. The focus really is all on the client and what they have to bring to the camera. Jackie had lots of different clients this year and it was amazing to see what type of session each of her clients suggested. That’s one of the best parts of photography is that you get to be creative and work with what you’ve been given. There is always art to be made in every single session and as a photographer it is our job to take your ideas and create the final picture. Its magic each and every time and I literally never get tired of it. If you’ve never tried a color block session yet I highly suggest giving it a shot the next time you see me or one of my associates offering them. Or better yet, ask and see if that would be an option for whatever session you are wanting to schedule. They always turn out so good.
