We are getting ready for extended family season as summer quickly approaches. A lot of families get together to do family vacations or reunion’s during the summer months and there’s no better time to schedule a photo session since everyone is already together anyway. Finding a specific date and time to do extended family sessions is the number one reason that I’ve gotten on repeat that makes it difficult to schedule an extended family session. And I can totally understand why that is. Trying to get so many different schedules to a line and coordinate work, kids activities, travel, all the times  can make it really hard. That’s why I always suggest planning them around a vacation or reunion date because they are typically planned out 6 months to a year or longer in advance. That gives everyone an ample amount of time to keep that date open or rearrange things as needed so you can have everyone in attendance. And I’m telling you now, dates are already filling up quickly for this summer. If you are not on the schedule yet with the photographer that you want, you need to reach out NOW! I know it seems really early but if you are looking for a nonflexible date, the sooner you reach out the better chance that date will still be available.

This beautiful extended family session was photographed by my sweet associate Simply Shelby by Bailie.
