Family means the world to me. I’ve always been close to my family and that’s one of the best and biggest blessings in my life. We always try to make time for one another, do things together, celebrate holidays and birthdays when possible, and keeping those connections through talking, texting or facetime. Not all of our family is local and we’ve had to bounce around a lot with medical school locations. But I’ve always found that I am the happiest with my own little family and both sides of our families around us. And because of that family sessions have always been one of my favorite sessions to shoot. Being able to have a family all together to capture their love and joy for one another and highlight that for them is undeniably my dream. I know that not everyone has the family that they might have dreamed of, or are struggling with certain relationships, etc But family to me is not always just those your related to per say. Family are those around you that make you feel loved, seen, and wanted no matter what that might look like for you in your life. Celebrate your family through pictures however, that might look, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
