Winter is typically considered our slow season as photographers. We still have quiet a few sessions that we do, but no where near as many as we do during the spring, summer, and fall. That partially has to do with families who want outdoor sessions but don’t want to fight with the weather and cooler temperatures. But we have had a handful of clients request outdoor winter sessions this year and it has been so fun to see snowy sessions. The snow and cold can really turn off clients, especially those with younger kids. But as you look through this gallery you can see how beautiful and fun it can be to do a winter family session in the snow. If you dress in layers and have warm clothing on then your session doesn’t have to be miserable. Simply Shelby by Liesel had the funnest idea for her clients who wanted a snowy winter session. She added in a sled and hot chocolate and it seriously added so much to her session. Each and everyone of her frames was gorgeous. And her clients were seriously the best to work with. So stinking fun!
