Is there anything dreamier than a winter wonderland and a gorgeous bride and groom? I don’t think so! This Winter wedding formal session was one to remember. We hiked through the snow to get these amazing shots. The snow covered pines were giving me all the feels and I couldn’t help but take a couple hundred photographs, and I’m not even joking. I think everyone needs to do at least one winter session in their lifetime. They are just that good.
Some of my newly engaged couples are worried about trying to take formals in the snow. The results are so beautiful I always tell them not to even worry about it. But if there are still some concerns here are a few tips and tricks to make the experience that much better and enjoyable:

- Wear thermals under your suit and dress, as long as they don’t show
- Wear wool socks
- Put handwarmers in your pockets and shoes
- Add a shawl, coat, or cover that adds to your overall look
- Wear snow boots under your dress, we’ll make sure they don’t show
- Bring coats to put on in-between takes or while were walking to and from different spots
- Have a thermos of hot chocolate or coffee waiting for you in the car for when you’re done
