Some people don’t know that southern Utah can look like this in late November. Everyone tends to associate southern Utah with warmer weather year round, rain here and there and red rocks. But if you time it right, you can still get a really stunning fall look. It usually shows up later in the fall season than up north, but when it does, it’s stunning. That’s just another reason why I love Utah so much. You can literally have a session during every season no matter where you live in the state. You just need to know the area you are shooting in and where to go to get beautiful backdrops like these that my talented associate Simply Shelby by Megan captured. Megan resides in southern Utah so she is an expert on all the things down there. She knows the right spots to go, what times of year are best for each location and esthetic, and she can accommodate local residents as well as those who are visiting and want a session done while you are in town. Her availability is limited and fills up fast though. So make sure you reach out with plenty of time to see if she has any availability while your down there.
