I get asked all the time what season is the “perfect” season for family pictures. And the answer is ALL OF THEM! I truly have a love for each season! Just like a parent doesn’t have a favorite child. I have an individual love for each. The thing that I love about these family pictures is the warm tones that Fall brings! It is one of the easiest seasons to capture that golden hour light. It also is perfect weather. When young kids are cold or hot they tend to not act as well as you would like. So Spring + Fall are perfect to keep those extremes at bay.
The VanDyke family was so darling! They truly have such a love for each other + I loved watching them interact with their sweet little girl! I also love that mini sessions help keep kids happy and excited for pictures! Because mini sessions are short + sweet they keep everyone on their toes!
