One year old birthday sessions are so fun to shoot. A lot of these sweet babes are ones I had the opportunity to capture as newborns. To see them a year later and see how much they a have grown is pure joy for me. One of the major perks about family photography is getting to know my clients and their kids. I have clients who have been coming to me for years. Watching them grow up and giving me the chance to showcase their milestones year after year is truly a privilege.
Who else loves a good cake smash. I want to be one again so I can just sit on the floor and have it be completely acceptable to shove cake in my face. :0) Its interesting to see the different personalities with one year old’s too. Some babes go right in and make a mess, others are more timid and need cozying to try it, and then you have your littles who HATE being messy and this is literally their worst nightmare. I never know what to expect which makes it so fun to photograph.
